New Patients

Mend Speech Therapy is a provider for Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).  We will submit claims on your behalf for both Medicare and BCBS.  You are responsible for any deductible, co-pay, and/or co-insurance.
For all other insurance companies, Mend Speech Therapy is considered “out-of-network”. Patients are responsible for paying the full fee amount.  Insurance coverage for speech therapy varies by plan and diagnosis, however out-of-network services are still covered by many insurance policies with prior authorization, if the services are deemed medically necessary. It is strongly recommended that you verify the exact details of your speech therapy benefits before beginning services.  We will be happy to assist you with this process.  You may choose to submit claims to your insurance company on your own and we will provide you with the necessary records if you wish to do so.

Private pay

Not all services provided by Mend Speech Therapy are considered “therapeutic services”; therefore, they may not be billed or treated as therapy and will not have associated treatment codes.  This means some services we provide will not be eligible for any insurance reimbursement. This may include executive function training, study skills courses or baseline cognitive testing for clients without a formal medical diagnosis, etc.  Please contact us for information about our competitive and invaluable private pay rates.

Mend Speech Therapy accepts cash, checks, and credit cards as forms of payment. Speech therapy is considered a qualified expense for HSA/FSA cards, which are also accepted.
