My interests

I wear many hats as a speech-language pathologist.  I treat speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing, but my first love is working with adults who have aphasia.  Helping someone express their thoughts and opinions again, after having that ability taken away by a stroke or traumatic brain injury, is absolutely priceless.

I also love helping people improve their thinking skills.  Whether someone is rehabilitating after an injury or simply feels the need to improve their level of functioning in everyday life, I enjoy assisting individuals reach their full academic or professional potential.

“The quality of your communication is the quality of your life.”
