About Me

I am Emily McMurtrey M.S. CCC-SLP, CBIS
For more than 14 years I have enjoyed working with adults and adolescents in a variety of settings. These include acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, day neuro treatment programs and private practice settings. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University and my Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. I hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas. I am also a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).

My interests
I also love helping people improve their thinking skills. Whether someone is rehabilitating after an injury or simply feels the need to improve their level of functioning in everyday life, I enjoy assisting individuals reach their full academic or professional potential.
